What is Storybird?
Storybird is an online platform that allows users to create their own stories with images, making it ideal for school and home learning.
Storybird provides a huge library of imagery and the ability to upload images of your own! This means, once the texts are entered; it's really simple to find a suitable image to create a visually engaging story, or you can even be inspired by images first and then type your story.
Learners can create picture books, long-form stories, poetry or comics. The ability to read and share stories is free but the creation part is for the paid membership, unfortunately. But even the free service provides a 3 download weekly where you can write 3 piece a week which are allowed for you to download!
