What is Pear Deck?

    Pear Deck is an interactive presentation platform aiming to actively engage learners in individual and social learning. Educators can create presentations using their Google Drive accounts. Learners may log into the presentations with unique access codes and interact while educators can simply monitor the progress. Pear Deck is a "freemium" service, though. Educators and schools can access a wide array of tools and resources for free or for the limitless experience they need to subscribe to a premium account.

COURSERA

     Hi, all! Today I would like to talk to you about this online certification platform called Coursera. I recently got a certificate for myself from over there just to try it out so I can write a better review for you guys.

Here's my certificate;

    

    Coursera actively partners with over 200 leading universities and companies to bring flexible, affordable, job-relevant online learning worldwide. In my experience, getting a relevant certificate in the area I was seeking a certificate from has been relevantly easy! I just had to sign up, verify my ID and pick a course to complete. Mid-course I had to take a graded quiz and at the end I took a graded final exam to determine if I was gonna pass or not! When I passed, I simply downloaded the certificate in my name and moved on.

    What is Flipgrid?

    Flipgrid is a simple platform to engage every student in your classroom or community by recording and sharing short videos with each other! You can view the short video I have created on Flipgrid with the link below.

    Flipgrid is an extremely user friendly platform both on browser and on the mobile app! The platform has a really pleasing minimalistic yet colorful Interface design. Flipgrid is a very popular tool used by educators but it can obviously also use it for team bonding exercises in the corporate world. 

    You can simply create an account via your Google Account and just start recording right away! Flipgrid also has a variety of effects and add-ons that you can use in your videos like music, texts, images, etc.!

JAMBOARD

     Hey, All! Today we shall talk about Jamboard!

What is Jamboard?

    Jamboard is a tool created by Google. Jamboard is a efficient way for teams or individuals to unleash their inner creativity. Built for a flexible experience, Jamboard allows users to sketch their ideas on a digital whiteboard, while benefitting from a connected, shareable canvas (as in padlet, miro, Pear Deck, etc.). 

    Users can access co-editing function, so that everyone in a team can contribute to ideas at the same time. You also conveniently don’t need to pay for multiple Jamboard devices. Features of Jamboard include: 

• Real-time drawing and drawing 
• Ability to search Google
• Drag, drop, and resize text and images 
• Image recognition technology 
• Share with up to 25 people at a time 
• Work with Google Drive and add Docs, Sheets, and Slides  
• Automatic saving and syncing across all devices

MINDMEISTER MIND-MAPPING

     Hello all! Today I wanted to share my experience with Mindmeister over here. Mindmeister is a crucial tool when it comes to mind mapping or outlining in education. Education is best done organized and is more memorable when put into images just as in mind maps. That is exactly why Mindmeister is perfect for educational purposes; IT IS AS SIMPLE AS IT GETS!! 

    You do not need to be a computer geek or a very skilled individual to make Meindmeister work. How do I know? Well I for one am surely no skilled individual yet I made this Learning Theories mindmap with Mindmeister!

TRELLO

     Hey, all! Today we shall talk about Trello!        

What is Trello?

    Trello is an online project management platform. Trello has a digital dashboard where you can create, organize actions and tools for  projects. Team members can collaborate on projects using the card system,  to add comments, links, files, and photographs to project cards. This card system has become so successful that it is recognized among many other platforms as the “Trello Look”.

    Trello's user interface is fairly user-friendly, clean and appealing. It's also quite easy to use. Even without training (which I certainly do not have anyway) or much time wasted in the platform, a beginner can very time efficiently find their way to make things work.
